Rating Guide

  • 1 Poor: Little knowledge, commitment, or action in this area.

  • 2 Fair: Some awareness or effort, but inconsistent or limited.

  • 3 Good: Moderate knowledge, commitment, or action, but there is still room for improvement.

  • 4 Very Good: Excellent performance, but with minor gaps.

  • 5 Excellent: Outstanding knowledge, commitment, or action, and can serve as an example.

Total Score Calculation

Add up the scores of all 9 indicators (maximum score = 45).
               Divide by 9 to get the average score on a 5 - point scale, and then multiply by 20 to convert it to a percentage (e.g., an average score of 3.5 = 70%).

Example Interpretation

  1. Score 0 - 40% (Poor): There are significant gaps in sustainable development knowledge, attitude, or behavior. Focus on building a basic understanding and making small behavioral changes.

  2. Score 41 - 60% (Fair): Some progress has been made, but it is inconsistent. Identify specific areas for improvement (e.g., knowledge, behavior).

  3. Score 61 - 80% (Good): There is a solid foundation, and there is room for deeper engagement or leadership.

  4. Score 81 - 100% (Excellent): You have a strong sustainable development profile. Consider mentoring others or leading initiatives.
